Description flight
After having weighted you to make weight and balance of the helicopter and having
received the initial explanatory briefing, you proceed to board the helicopter.
Take off from our base located by the sea in the port of Motril helipad and proceed to
fly over Motril discovering the attractive views of the town, to then fly to the
impressive monument of the Alhambra, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO where you will enjoy
not only the wonderful views of the Alhambra Palace, but the Generalife Gardens and the
Albaicin, crossing the Sierra de Los Guajares, with its magnificent pine forests and the
Beznar reservoir, nestled in the Izbor river valley, breathtakingly beautiful and Lecrín
valley, with its orange and lemon trees plantations.
During this journey we will enjoy incredible views of the Guadalfeo River Gorge, formed
by the river over millions of years, the castle of Velez de Benaudalla, the dam of Rules,
the Sierra de la Alpujarra with its beautiful white villages and the western slope of
Sierra Nevada with its two highest peaks, the Veleta, with 11.142 ft and Mulhacen, with
11.414 ft.
In our descent towards the coast, the helicopter will cross the Sierra del Chaparral,
from where you will enjoy spectacular views of the bay of La Herradura and Punta de la
Mona, headland above the sea, with its beautiful marina, Playa del Muerto and incredible
mansions, and of course, unusually transparent waters.
From there we will head to Salobrena, beautiful whitewashed village with medieval
structure located on a promontory and built around the wall and the Moorish castle that
crowns the village, crossing Almunecar and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Verde
River valley with its subtropical fruit plantations as papayas, custard apples and
mangoes.
